Sunday Funday

Today we enjoyed a relaxing day at home, courtesy of the not-so-big snow storm. We already had groceries (since Saturday is our normal grocery shopping day) and our church service was online only.

I read a good post-Civil War era book (A Time for Everything by Mysti Parker) and took a nap. Sunday afternoon naps, while great, are often taken because I've fallen asleep on the couch. It's not always the best sleep. This time, however, I actually laid down in bed to take a nap, and it was glorious.

Then I cooked a delicious supper, played chess with Adelyn, and then Pass the Pigs with all three of my kids. Sundays are made for relaxation and family. :)
